Water Soluble PVA Fiber – Reinforcement for Cement, Plaster & Specialty Textiles
Water-soluble PVA fiber used as reinforcement in cement, plaster, and specialty textiles to improve tensile strength and reduce cracking.
Water Soluble PVA Fiber is a kind of cotton-like synthetic fiber, it is widely used in agriculture, light industry, textile, military, medical treatment and so on. Water Soluble PVA fiber has satisfying soluble temperature, strength, elongation, good property of acid resistance, alkali resistance, dry and hot resistance. And after dissolving in water, it is non-smell, non-poison, the solvent is colorless transparent, it can be national degradation in short time, it will not bring environment pollution, it is 100% green product.
Water Soluble PVA fiber is the fiber which is made from PVA by wet spinning, heat treatment, warm curl and put oil. The product has good physical and mechanical properties, it resist corrosion, resist acid and bases and it has good dry heat stability, its best feature is it can dissolve in the water which is 86~95℃.

Procurement Recommendation
Water-soluble PVA fibers (typically dissolving at 60–90°C) are used to reinforce cementitious matrices, reduce cracking in plasters, and serve as temporary carriers in specialty textiles. Select suppliers offering consistent fineness (1.5–20 denier), tensile strength (>500 MPa), and controlled solubility profiles. Key certifications include REACH compliance and low VOC emissions. In construction, fibers should disperse evenly without balling and degrade cleanly without residue. For textile applications, verify compatibility with weaving or nonwoven processes. Avoid batches with inconsistent dissolution rates that compromise structural integrity or leave residues. Storage in dry, climate-controlled conditions is essential to prevent premature moisture absorption. Prioritize manufacturers providing technical data sheets with dosage recommendations and performance validation in real-world mixes. (for reference only)
