What Plastic Can Be Engraved On? – Guide to Laser-Compatible Thermoplastics

Many products made of plastic, such as light switch panels and many other panels, are laser engraved. Note, however, that with all types of laser engraver, styrene and other thermoformed plastics will melt around the edges of the engraved point and the engraving result may not be sharp enough, so please do not engrave with high power lasers. Requires super sharp edges.

Can Atomstack laser engravers be used to engrave stone, glass and mirrors?
Stone and glass don't vaporize easily, but with just the right amount of power and speed can achieve excellent results. Having said that, experimentation with samples is recommended.
There are two ways to engrave a mirror. The first is to engrave the glass surface of the mirror with suitable power and speed. Of course, blacken the surface before engraving. A new form of mirror engraving, the laser pulses through the reflective silver layer on the rear of the mirror, so the glass face remains intact, maintaining total reflection quality. After the engraving process, you can "fill" a new coat to fill in the laser details in the mirror if you wish.
Both X-axis and Y-axis have accurate scale lines, which is convenient for you to quickly check the length. The large-area engraving range of 200x200mm can meet your different engraving needs. This machine adopts an integrated lead screw instead of a combined coupling, and the stepping motor and lead screw are integrally formed, which makes the laser movement more accurate, the coupling more durable, and the laser has a button, which is more convenient and quick to adjust the height.
